Mission Knoxville is an opportunity for The Exchange Church to partner with Washington Pike Church to serve the people of Knoxville, TN, through acts of love and service. This trip is for anyone with a heart to serve—students, families, and individuals—who want to make an impact while growing in their faith.
What Will We Do?
Mission Knoxville is a hands-on experience where we will serve the community through the Backpack Bash, an event designed to meet tangible needs while sharing the love of Jesus. We’ll assist with packing 500+ backpacks, connect with families, and demonstrate the Gospel through both word and action.

When?
July 25–27, 2025
Travel will begin on Friday, July 25 at 11:00 am. We will leave Knoxville after worshipping together at Washington Pike Church on Sunday, July 27.

Who?
There are 30 spots available to anyone in 6th grade and up.
(Anyone under 18 must room with their parent.)

Cost?
The Exchange Church is contributing to the cost of the trip; therefore, the total cost to you is discounted! Included in what you pay is transportation, lodging, and meals while in Knoxville, but each person will be responsible for the cost of their meals and snacks during travel to and from Knoxville.
The total price per person for the trip is tiered based on the total number of people you choose to room with.
The cost per person is:
1 person in a room - $170 total
2 people in a room - $80 each person total
3 people in a room - $50 each person total
4 people in a room - $35 each person total
Leadership can provide some assistance in connecting you with roommates, but we ask that you please connect with others who are going and discuss rooming together.

Pack light. No more than one reasonably sized bag per person.
